Carla loves to be different. So when her teacher, Ms. Pimento, announces the upcoming school vision screening, Carla is thrilled. Maybe she’ll need glasses! Then she’ll be the only kid in her class to have them! Carla even creates her own cool and funky frames to see what styles and colors look good on her. So when she’s ready for real frames, she’ll know just what to choose.  

Then come the results of the vision screening, and someone does need glasses. But it’s not Carla. It’s her friend and classmate Buster. And unlike Carla, Buster does not like to stand out. So, with thoughtfulness and ingenuity, Carla devises a plan to help Buster.
